Early Mid Season RE Fertile TET EV. One of our longtime goals has been to make a beautiful deep red with a deep black eye. After more than 14 years it still hasn't happened. This is as close as we have come. The throat is very green, the eye is dark red (RHS 187A) but not black. The red is RHS 53B and the darker coloring also occurs on the edges. A very distinctive and unusual cultivar that is sure to please.
